"Professional Pitfalls"

In the Special Events Industry, we often struggle to be viewed as a legitimate group of professionals. Are there behaviors that you exhibit in your business practices that lead colleagues and potential clients to view you as less professional than you see yourself? In this session we will examine common professionalism pitfalls that may be hampering the growth and success of your business.

(For the past 10 years, Meredith Commender, CSEP has been the owner and Lead Event Coordinator & Designer at Significant Events of Texas- an event coordination firm based in Dallas. Weddings are the largest sector of her business, but she frequently produces events for charitable organizations and corporate clients as well. She is a regular speaker for various Event Industry organizations in North America as well as at Event Industry Conferences.)
