Jim earned his undergraduate degrees in psychology and political science from Texas Lutheran University in 1985. Since 1992, he has worked with the Peak Performance Corporation in Atlanta and Dallas.

In 2001, Jim founded Mind Authority and he travels the country speaking to sales, marketing and advertising professionals from many industries, but specifically real estate and mortgage.
In 2005, Jim was hand-selected to be the national spokesperson for The Learning Annex Speaker's Academy, based in New York City. Jim was "Guru to the Gurus," sharing the speaking roster with Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, George Foreman, Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and Marshall Sylver, in addition to hundreds of other national experts.
Jim is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a certified Master Hypnotist. Using advanced hypnotic language patterns and social science, Jim has merged both areas of expertise into a new and highly effective persuasion technology called NeuroPersuasion®. These persuasive techniques can help you shorten your selling cycles and significantly improve your closing ratio.
Jim is the author of "The Owner's Manual No One Gave You!" and the creator of the innovative Zero Effort training system including the "Zero Effort Selling" and "Zero Effort Performance" training programs.
