Meetings
The monthly luncheons are scheduled for the last Wednesday of every month, excluding December, with open networking starting at 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon. This is your opportunity to network with other wedding professionals. Then, at 1:00pm we will have either an educational speaker, guest
profile or allow more time for networking. There are also plenty of door prizes. The event is over at 1:30pm, but you are welcome to stay and continue to network.

Membership
Fees through 2009
Membership into the guild is a member based voting process and should
not take longer than 4 weeks once your application is submitted.
Membership to the guild is normally $150.00 per year.
Currently, if you join between now
and September 1st , 2008 the membership fee will be $175.00 and
will activate your membership through December 31, 2009 once your
application is accepted.
Each luncheon is $25.00 and must be
paid prior to the luncheon. You can attend up to three times before
joining the guild.
All members of the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth will
be listed on the guilds website and put in the membership directory.
All listings on the website will also have hotlinks to your website
and email address.

Bridal Shows, Inc. has graciously offered this discount which, if
you think about it, pays for your annual membership dues in The
Guild.
Use of
the PWG logo in literature and advertising and a Membership Certificate.
Free
company listing in the PWG Directory. The PWG purchases booths at
local Tarrant County bridal shows and event were the directories
are passed out. They are also passed out at members places of business.
Free
listing and link on our web site, FortWorthBride.com.
This site is registered with many search engines and is updated
an maintained on a regular basis.
PWG has
its own "PWG Aisle” twice a year at the Fort Worth Bridal Shows.
As a member of the PWG, you will have the option of placing your
booth within our aisle. By placing your booth in the Aisle, this
further re-enforced the idea that the members have a sincere desire
and the ability to work together, thus making the brides event an
even greater success!
And
the BEST benefit of all is the comradery and friendships you will
build by coming to the meeting and working with other PWG members
at wedding and special events. That alone is worth the membership
dues!

Code of Ethics
Do whatever necessary to make sure that the event is a success.
Have a personal sense of obligation to each individual client.
Treat each client fairly and honestly, providing all contracted services in a timely manner.
Promote good will between the client and the wedding/event industry.
Promote good will between fellow members.
Hire and train the most professional staff.
Use honest and factual advertising.
Establish reasonable, proper fees for services and provide written estimates to each client.
Operate a business that is a credit to the organization and the community.
